Logos 5 start-up fail on Windows 8

Ha, I didn't think about it before I uploaded the logs that I had re-started.

Here's the logs now after just crashing the app by not selecting "blank layout", for any help they may provide.

Glad to hear you're working on it. If there's a workaround it would be cool to know it (although I'm "working around" it by loading the blank layout at the moment).

Since I'm living in Sweden I'd rather not call support

Hi Dave,

We've narrowed this bug down to the Logos Blog. When opening Logos to the home page, with the Logos Blog turned on, it will crash when the window is resized or maximized. We're working to fix this issue. Meanwhile, you can workaround it by opening Logos, clicking "Customize" on the home page, and turning off the "Logos Blog" section before you resize the window.

Hello everyone,

I've got the same problem here and am totaly frustrated because I can't use Logos for my study.
I live in Germany, so it is almost not possible for me to call the support team (I can't afford it).

Logos 5 crashes immediately, so I am not able to deactivate anything from the homepage.
What can I do?

I'm thankful for every suggestion!

Don't assume you have the same problem just because your computer is crashing too! [;)]

Logos 5 crashes immediately, so I am not able to deactivate anything from the homepage.

Press and hold the command key (MAC) or control key (PC) immediately upon start up. Check the box to load a blank layout. If your installation still crashes, please create a new thread (so that your issue can be dealt with individually) and post those logs.

My computer doesn't crash only Logos and that is bad enough ...
Due to the same Error-Code and similar behavior I assume it's the same problem.

Your hint with the check-box for a blank layout worked great! Thank you very much! [Y]
I've unchecked the blog-entries on the homepage and everything works fine.

I'm really happy to got help so fast!
