When every I try to open Thomas Nelson's "Teaching Outlines of the Bible" Logos 5 crashes.
Please enable logging, start logos, allow it to crash, and upload the logs to the forum using the paperclip icon. You can find instructions by following the appropriate link in my signature line.

Logos will produce a crash log. Even better would be if you started Logos by holding the Ctrl key down - this invokes a full diagnistic log. Then try to open the resource and after the crash (before restarting Logos) collect the logs and post them here.

You need to re-index your resources and this will take a few hours.
First delete the folder C:\Users\PSam\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\0mkj4tob.lrj\LibraryIndex and then restart Logos.

That didn't work, though it was helpful to find out what path was being followed.
Do you have any other ideas?

Please post a new set of Logos diagnostic log files.
Apologies: unable to replicate crash in Nelson's Teaching Outlines of the Bible.

Could the resource itself be corrupt? What about hiding the resource, then unhiding it so it downloads again...

there was definitely a problem with the Library Index so we now need to see the full logs i.e. logos.log and logosindexer.log. Start Logos with Ctrl key held and upload the logs before you restart Logos.
Here is the latest log.

Unless I am misunderstanding… these aren't new logs, but really old ones.
These are ones I did this morning. The log before this one was of a wrong path.
Hello SamK,
Your logs are not recording fresh information for some reason. Please delete all content in the Logos Log Files folder, then re-log the error. This should give us a fresh log with current data on the crash.

Just following the logs
That seems to have done the job. I had to wait quite a while for the program to recognize the book when I restored it, but it did open.
Thanks for your help! Have a great day.
SamK:That seems to have done the job.
Glad you have it working!

Just teasing you. You are the master, I am but the lowly padawan.
