Brian Williams:

Storyline is a self-published title through Amazon, this decision has excluded the title from being sold at other ebook retailers–including Vyrso/Logos. Unfortunately, we won't be able to sell the title for the time being.

Bummer, but not surprising. I noticed it wasn't available in Kindle format, so I was guessing it wouldn't be able to be done in Vyrso but thought it was worth asking anyway. Oh well.

I'd like to see "Defining Inerrancy" by JP Holding and Nick Peters (foreword by Craig Blomberg) in Vyrso.

This small book would lend itself good to the Vyrso offering: digitally published, no footnotes. I came to it by following a link to Dan Wallace' website where he favorably reviews the Logos edition of LSJ and reading on to his recent review of Defining Inerrancy.

I'd like to see this new book by Peter Enns in Vyrso (reviewed here):

Also other books by him (with others) that should be in Logos or Vyrso:

Two more books by Mike Yankoski (Vyrso already has one):

Here's another one I'd like to see in Vyrso.

BTW, how come nobody from Logos/Vyrso is reading/responding to this thread anymore? Brian Williams, are you still there? Oops, I guess not.

Thanks for the suggestions Rosie! I'm still working with Logos/Vyrso just in a little different capacity than before; I explain more here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/91228/634166.aspx#634166

I've taken note of your suggestions. The title you've most recently mentioned, The Triumph of Christianity, is published by HarperCollins. While we have a good relationship with a couple of their imprints (Thomas Nelson & Zondervan) we still don't have an umbrella relationship with the organization as a whole. We're working on some additional functionality that will allow us to sign some of the Big 5 publishers soon—including HarperCollins.

Thanks!

That's exciting, though I can't imagine what further functionality Logos would need to be able to publish tons of books by HarperCollins. It's already so rich in display capabilities, and HarperCollins books are generally pretty basic in layout. But nevertheless, I'm glad to hear these relationships might be in the works soon.

I'll keep the suggestions flowing, even though I know some of them are with publishers whose books you won't be able to carry for a while, so you'll have a decent-sized pipeline when the time comes.

I think you misunderstand what is meant by "capabilities." I assume HarperCollins wants to have tighter reigns on the licensing agreement (i.e. "you can only download this resource on 5 devices), etc.). Hopefully copy and paste isn't messed with. Tongue Tied

Erg! You're probably right. I hope that's not what this is about.

Hi Jan!

I looked into our ability to get Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ into Vyrso, and found out that we'll be pursuing to get it and other classics for Noet

as to why there is no subforum for suggesting Catholic/Verbum resources

I have no idea. I sent an email asking that we make one.

Yay, it has finally happened!

Let us know if you have any other titles you'd like to see!

I'd like to see Andrew Sieborger / Siebörger's books - I think they fit well into the Vyrso eBook offering (well written, less academic, existing for electronic platform)
