Can you provide some more specifics?
What filter are you using, what results are you getting as opposed to what you are expecting?

In the top right corner of Timeline there is a search line.
When I type a search string, like "Jesus" I don't get any results - and I have chosen His lifespan first.
When the search is empty, I can see all the available information in the Timeline main window. But if I try to type any of the informations I can see, the result is always negative.

Hopefully someone will be able to deduce something from your logs - although they look fine to me.
In the meantime are you able to post a screenshot? Just wonder if that would provide some hints

Below you see the result of my search "Paul" ... And it do not matter what word I search - I always end up empty :-(

I wonder if there is a Mac-specific issue going on here.

Additional information about my system:
My timeline database is dated 2013-06-18.
But I am running 5.1 RC2 and it is possible / likely that there were some updates during the beta process.
How do I notify Logos about this issue?

One option is sending an email to Logos Technical Support => http://www.logos.com/contact with reference to this thread.
Other option is upgrading to Logos 5.1 Release Candidate 2, which can filter timeline on OS X 10.8.4
