I have Platinum (JG) V4. I'm wondering if "Visual Filter" is not available in this version. I'm going through the MP Seminars inductive Bible Study training and it says it should be under the "trinity" icon in the Bible tab after accessing Highlighting from the tools menu, but it is not there. If anyone has this it's on page 42.

Thanks,

Doug

Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Extended_Tips_for_Highlighting_and_Visual_Filters#Examples_of_visual_filters with Logos 4 Mac screen shots.

Visual filters use indexes for searching so wondering if indexing is complete ?

Logos 5 software is free; installation needs OS X 10.6.8 or higher => http://www.logos.com/support/logos5/mac/install

Wiki also has more Logos 5 information => http://wiki.logos.com/Upgrade_or_Crossgrade

Have you made any Visual Filters? You've got to make them first, before they show up under that icon. You make them, either from the Documents menu, or from a Search.

For clarification: "Platinum (JG)" represents the base package of resources that you own… not the software version. The resources (books, datasets, etc.) you must pay for, the software is always free. As long as your computer specs are appropriate, you should migrate to Logos 5. If you decide you don't need the new features which require new datasets, then the switch will be free for you. Logos 4 is no longer being developed (other than an occasional service release).

Out of curiosity, do you know which version of the software you are running?
