I have a friend who always says that: "We need to get our midrash on!" Basically, it just means to study deeply.
But I'm talking here more about the Midrashim of Judaism. I realize that Logos has this collection, which is fine, I suppose. But seriously, JPS is really deluding themselves if they expect to sell many of these. In a vast sea of Logos Wants, most of the time the deciding factor is "bang-for-the-buck"...and at $190 for four volumes, this collection is nowhere near the top of the list. Also, some of these disappeared from history for a long time and so they are not quoted much in subsequent literature.
Want it? Sure. Getting it? Not sure I ever will...
So, that said, there are many Midrashim that are quoted from extensively, such as Midrash Rabbah, Genesis Rabbah, Exodus Rabbah, the Sifre on Leviticus and Numbers & Deuteronomy, Midrash HaGadol, Ruth Rabbah, Midrash Shmuel, Midrash Proverbs, and Midrash Tehillim (Psalms).
What's so special about the Midrashim? Well, as you might be able to guess by the names above, these are actually very much focused on the books of Tanakh (OT), as opposed to the Mishna and Talmud, which are focused more on the rabbinic interpretation of the oral law. If you use your Logos library often and to full advantage, you will notice frequent references to these resources.
So, Logos...ball is in your court. I would love to see some affordable Midrash collections in Logos format. Please point out to any publishers you deal with (if you can't get Public Domain versions) that price is a critical element in selling these. If possible, doing these in CP would be best, I think. I hope to hear a positive report soon!

ps...We really need to get an affordable Tosefta also...and a Gemara wouldn't hurt either.
