This is a very complicated questions unless you own Samsung Galaxy S4. Then just go into Settings and find the App Manager. Tap on the app and move it over using the button. Here's a howto - http://www.gottabemobile.com/2013/07/11/how-to-move-samsung-galaxy-s4-apps-to-sd-card-after-update/

If you don't, then you may need to root your device which is hacking it to do things the device wasn't designed to do. This can either be easy or hard depending on the device.

Go to XDA Developers Forum for help on that if you want to venture into the deep.

Will moving it to the SD card also move the entire library as well?

I actually thought the app put the resources on the SD Card.

I have the same question.

Can I just copy resources from the Logos file on my PC to the Logos resource file on my Tablet?

That would save me lots of time downloading on a slow connection.

I don't even care about where my app is placed but I wanted to find out about getting the books/resources on the SD card to save room overall.

You can but they won't be recognised!

Part of the download includes "index"/TOC data to ensure it will be accessed correctly & efficiently.

This is such no-brainer. Logos really needs to add putting the library on the SD card ASAP if one is available.

Kevin,

I will write up an inquiry case for our development team.

That would be awesome.

Dave it has been a year a a half since the problem was addressed.. Is there now a way to assure all Resources are moved/can be moved to the SD Card... Most phone (including new ones) do not have the space to keep them on the phone and if they do, little else can be used on the phone... REALLY WAS A NO BRAINER someone overlooked. Jeff

I haven't been tracking this issue so it would be better to create a new thread for this.

Yes for native app support for storing resources on an SD card.

In Android's settings, under Apps, once one finds Logos, there is a "move to SD" option (as there is for many other apps). I have used it. I assumed (correctly or incorrectly?) that this included the data, not just the program.

What is really annoying is that LOGOS' lack of concern. In responses usually mean.. "We know about this, but we are not changing" INSTEAD I GET AN EMAIL telling me how to use settings to 'Move APP to SD' ...  A really moronic reply since app size is not a big factor... Resourse however can be Tremendous asset in size...  It is really aggravating considering I could have bought a car with all I have spent with this company.

You know, you hit the nail on the head here: it is fair to say that one of the reasons we expect more quality from Logos is indeed that there is hardly any other software on which many of us have spent so much over the years. Even Microsoft, unavoidable as it is to the PC world (I have used Windows since 3.1 and Office since 1995 or 1997 I think) has not cost me anywhere as much. And I know folks who have invested much more than I have yet in Logos.

I know this does not advance the question at hand (Android and SD cards) but I thought it was worth picking up.
