I've recently upgraded to Windows 8 and I've seen the post about anti-virus software with the last update.

However, I have no anti-virus software at all.  So I'm not sure why it keeps shutting down.

And I've been using Proclaim for over a month with no such problems.

Hello Trevis,

I am sorry to hear you're having problems with Proclaim. Are you able to post logs of the event?

Anton,

I figured out what was causing the crash.  I used the recently "free" template for Labor Day.  There was a stock slide in the package called "Survey".  Every time I touched that slide (to delete it or otherwise), Proclaim immediately shut down.  I had someone on our team edit the slide and remove the Survey slide and it worked seamlessly.  I'm not sure why this happened but hopefully, it won't happen again.

Thanx for your reply!

Interesting. The survey service item uses an embedded web browser control to render the animations. Sounds like your system was having issues with this control. Would love to the ProclaimError.log file from  %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Proclaim Log Files\ so we can further diagnose the issue.
