Practicum Problems

Just downloaded the long-awaited Catholic Practicum, and well, the are some serious issues that I need help.

First the video quality fades in and out between decent to I can't read the words. (The product description read high definition--not happening.) Audio also cuts out, requiring a restart of the video.

The little "busy" spinning wheel spins far too much. Youtube videos download faster than these. Which leads to my next question. Is each video being downloaded each time? (Product description said that "After the initial download, Practicum will be automatically stored on your hard drive for convenient watching, even if you aren’t connected to the internet.")

I cannot jump back 30 seconds to re-listen to instructions without the "busy" wheel taking more than a minute, if ever it comes back.

Not sure how to fix this. Any advice is much appreciated.

Is there a way to pre-download all the videos?

My version of Logos is the latest, 5.2 SR-2 (updated today.) Running on a MacBook Pro with OS 10.9 with 8 GB of memory.

I can do a screenshot for you as Practicum is crashing my windows install every-time I open it, but yes you can pre-download the videos Mark.

Open the drop down menu from the book cover on the top left hand side of the resource panel, towards the end will be an entry that allows you to download all media.

Thank you for the tip. Hope that will work. (Wish there was a progress indicator for the media download.)
