Interesting. Mine says that it will cost $179 which is great and means that dynamic pricing applies. My only frustration is that I don't know which books I don't have without clicking on each link. I appreciate the offer but only wish that it was easier to determine.
Hi André,
The added link isn't hyperlinked: https://www.logos.com/product/38320/500-book-mega-pack
This is a classic collection, how often will I use this..?[^o)]
For me, with dynamic pricing, it's still $356..
My only frustration is that I don't know which books I don't have without clicking on each link.
how do I know who is my sales rep?
Thanks for posting this. I'm in. It didn't take me that long to click through the resources within this collection to see what was new to me. Unlike the pages for most of the Logos bundles like this, the links went to the actual resource pages. $349.12 was my dynamic price.
Donnie
For me it's $398.88 without price plain. I don't have that kind of money atm anyway.

If you're into 'hard' volumes (vs discussion volumes), and missed out on a number of the CP offerings, this one has quite a few.
I have been working with David Day. Nice guy. David DayLogos Bible Software – Direct Sales RepresentativeDirect Line: 360-685-23011-877-542-7664 Ext. 2301Email: david.day@logos.com Connect: Linked In

Agree. [Y] Give him a call.
A lot of these seem to be in the "classic commentaries and studies on" series. Also, I have been making my purchases through Rusty Davidson rusty.davidson@logos.com . He's been great, and has even contacted me out of the blue when he had an idea to save me money on an upgrade I'd been wanting. Saved me a bundle on the upgrade to platinum. I highly recommend him. He has even gotten back to me quickly when I send emails at odd hours. This week he processed a sale for me around 8pm bellingham time... How is that for dedication?
Well, I looked and found the list to not be very helpful. There are a large number of these I don't have (my dynamic price is $364.50). But so many of them have such a non-descriptive title, I have no idea whether I have it, want it, or don't care, unless I click on the link. For instance, one title is "Studies in the New Testament." That's it. No other identifying information. How is that helpful?
Logos: Is there any way to make this list more helpful? Can you give me some info on hover, or put something more descriptive next to the title (at least author and publisher).
#frustrated
At least they gave a list of collections, with links.
In the past it would have been a list of 500 books, without links.
(And in case anyone believes that is more helpful, let me remind you that there are quite a few books with titles like 'Introduction to the Old Testament', or 'Commentary on X'. Without either author or link it can be completely impossible to even guess what book they're referring to. In fact, there have been times when they didn't even know themselves.)
for me the price was $76 for 83 resources.
This collection contained over $1200 of stuff already in my wishlist, plus tons of extras. Sweet.
I just did some math for myself.
For $179 I would get a total of 247 volumes valued by Logos at $4,185
That is 72 cents a volume!
This is an amazing deal considering I have a number of these volumes in print that I had not yet converted to my Logos library.
The only thing holding me back now is talking it over with my wife since I already spent quite a bit this month on Logos resources. I love this sale but would have liked it even more if it was offered a month or two later.

You could tell here you will exercise self control and buy it on the last day of the year, so it shows up on January´s statement!
Other selling point is your are getting it for at close to 200 dollars cheaper lots of us!
They want $362,28 from me! Think I can talk my wife into that? In my dreams!
My dynamic price is only $1 OFF ...
Currently I have 6100 books in the library & none of those are in the 500 Package. I'm surprised.
Logos has made us Logos customers to see the higher the number books in the library the better it is. The same with the book sales.. the higher the books presented in the package, the better they want us to think the sale is...
We should wake up and understand that quality is better than quantity, that's basic.
the number of books in our library doesn't mean we can be a better preacher or have better preparation. I used to think like that (though I've only been a member for less than a year)
anywho, the complete 500 Package is 1.6gb .. I don't doubt this is a good deal, but I'm re-evaluating my decision.
cheers!
I've got no complaints. I thought the way it's done was great because I could follow the link to product page and see what I own and what I don't. when they have the hover option you loose the ability to check what you do or don't own. Listing author could of been helpful, but still I'd want to follow link to confirm ownership or not and so quickly found out the author anyway. Please include links like this more often.
For the dynamic price I was offered it was way lower than the titles I wanted, and then I got some extra stuff on top. Thank you Logos for putting on a this sale. Happy Christmas to you all.

How does one discover his "dynamic price?" I have a number of these but when I put it in the shopping cart I still see only the full price.
The best way to check your dynamic price is to add an item to your shopping cart when you're logged into your logos.com account, then compare it to the price for the item on logos.com when you're logged out of your account.
Each title in the list is a clickable link. You can click on it and see the full product description page. For example, "Studies in the New Testament" is this one by Archibald T. Robertson: http://www.logos.com/product/2520/studies-in-the-new-testament
LOL I only own 3 titles and it shows $346.16 for me. One of the titles I own (Meyer's commentary) is worth $249, maybe if those $249 came off the bundle I'd probably purchase it [;)]
DAL
either Logos is desperate for sales or they're just being creative... *sorry
why would they have to put the "timer" on the page .. silly.
I don't think that would create any type of "urgency" to buy the package.. what they're gonna make is just "buyers remorse"
.
btw, the book ORTHODOXY that's included in the 500 bundle.. didn't get downloaded.
here's the link https://www.logos.com/product/38320/500-book-mega-pack
did you guys get it?
Hey DAL, I just wanted to point out that the current price they have for that commentary is way higher than it went for in community pricing ($30.00). But I would like to say great job to logos for making this great offer with dynamic pricing!!!!
Thanks Logos for this sale. This package was a good value.
I got it because I wanted the Whitefield collection but it downloaded all sorts of goodies as well, which was a surprise as it only cost me $68.
I added every book or collection to my cart that I didn't already own and even with academic pricing my price was over $5,000. This really is a great deal. my dynamic price is around $350.
This really is a great deal.
I just wanted to say thanks to Logos for such an incredible Christmas present! I was disappointed with the after Thanksgiving sale, but this sale is beyond anything I expected. I realize that this bundle will not interest everyone, but I am both a pastor and an academic with a wide range of interests so this was perfect for me.
#InLoveWithLogos
There are some great volumes on here that I was forced to pass up in PrePub. Unfortunately, I'm still not in a position to do it, but hopefully some others can take advantage of this incredible deal.
Merry Christmas all!
As long as you are logged in, your dynamic price will show
Thank you Logos[;)]. This is a great opportunity to get books that I missed in CP. And thank you for let us know you before you change your packages, I hope you will continue to this practice in the future.

I love this collection! Just two collections in it that I would like hit the price. There are plenty of resources in the collection that I have minimal desire to read or own, but there are plenty that I love! Thank you, Logos, for putting dynamic pricing on this.
No brainer! Incredible deal! Thank you!

Actually, if there's a lot in the bundle you want, a higher price means a better deal. Those who get a lower price have already bought a lot of the books on CP, where they will almost certainly have paid more than $1/volume.

Thanks Logos for this Mega bundle. Received many book books for a great price.

Exactly my feeling!
One of the titles I own (Meyer's commentary) is worth $249
What is your opinion of the Meyers Commentary? I know it went for 30 dollars off of community pricing.
When looking at the product page, some are giving it a bad review.

Do you think it is useful? Thanks in advance! Tom
Did any of you guys have the book "orthodoxy" in your library after purchasing the "500 package" ?
because mine still available for purchase.. and I couldn't find "orthodoxy" in my library either...
There's no way I'm gonna click individually through such a large unsorted list - its a bit like a bargain bucket in a DVD shop where everything is just mushed in together.
I understand your frustration and I wish it was easier but it is well worth the effort to see what treasures are held within. Or you can just go for it knowing that it is an amazing deal. Logos' own words say "This is the largest discount we’ve ever offered on any product in our company’s history!" You can let it pass but you might never have this opportunity again.

You are right. "Orthodoxy" was not downloaded. Logos will probably fix this in the next few days.
Richard, I emailed sales and a few hours later they emailed me back a list of all the volumes I owned / didn't own in this collection. It helped me make up my mind to buy it as I owned so little of this collection, and got a $0.75 / book dynamic price. When I converted this back to GBP, the price seemed even better at under £0.50 / book!
The sale is probably not for everyone - especially if you are not interested in Logos 'Classic' range of titles, but if you are it really doesn't take that much effort or take that long. And what is on offer is so much better than the bargin bucket IMHO.

Someone want to give me some advice on this commentary! Is it worth it, did logos do a good job of putting in hyperlinks to greek words, etc. ?
I'm having the same issue with A A Hodge's Commentary on the WCF
Also, the two Saint Bernard books aren't showing up.
Smeaton's 'Doctrine of the Holy Spirit' is included twice on the product listing - once in the Smeaton Theology Collection and once as a standalone.
Does that mean it's actually "The 499 book mega pack"?!
I clicked through some of the titles, especially the commentaries in the mega deal. I don't see any modern (this century or latter part of last century) commentaries in it.
Have I missed anything?
Thanks!
Peter
