I've been working through Learning Logos material, but still haven't learned how to do one thing that would be very helpful to me.

How can I limit the commentaries and other resources that appear after I've entered a Bible passage to research? I'd like to put together a select list of commentaries, dictionaries, etc. that appear, rather than having to sort through every applicable resource in my library.

I'm thinking it has something to do with making a new collection, but I'm not sure.

David, I have tagged my favorite commentaries that go into a collection when I tag them and then in the passage guide I set it to my favorite commentaries. This limits the commentaries to what is in my favorite collection. There may be an easier way, but that's what works for me.

See the wiki on making collections: and also the one on customizing a passage guide: Once you have a custom passage guide that shows your favorite resources, you can set up and save a named layout for Bible study that includes your custom passage guide:

David to help with getting the most from your library you may also want to look into tagging.

This was helpful for me.

Also look into setting your preferred resources.
