Logos 4 Reading Plan Question

I've been trying to make a reading plan for just John's books and make it so that I read one chapter every other day, but can't figure out how to do this. I've chosen just his books OK, and every other day ok, but can't get it to allow me to read one full chapter each day. Is this not possible or am I going about it wrong? Any ideas? Thanks1

One option is using a Personal Book devotional, forum thread => Chronological Bible Reading Plan - PBB file. has couple examples.

Attached an example Personal Book devotional with Daily Psalms and Proverbs:

Apologies: this devotional is missing February 29. For Psalms, repeated Psalms 119 three times along with focusing on one Hebrew letter per day (8 verses); all other Psalms are one Psalms per day.

A reading plan could be created for Personal Book devotional.

Thank you. I checked that thread and have to confess that I've never understood how to use the personal book stuff. I loved being able to upload my sermons into Logos 3 and have missed having them, but simply haven't been able to figure out the whole personal book thing. Probably at least partially because I don't have the hours it would take me to study it to figure it out. I was going to download that anyway, but when I clicked on it, it asked me what to open it with and suggested Word. I realized then that I'm not sure what to use to open it, and then not sure how to get it into my bible library... I know, probably pretty stupid questions, but when you don't understand something even the basics are beyond you. Could you explain how to download it? I mean what to open it with, and then how to get it into the library?

I was shocked to see that Logos 5 was free, and thrilled too, until I remembered that I believe they said it won't work with Windows XP, which is what I have. So I don't want to download it and take a chance of messing my library up. Will it always be free? If I ever get enough money I'll get a new computer and could then get it if it's free still.... I bookmarked the page though, just in case... Thanks for the information!

The software is ALWAYS free. You pay for the resources and data sets. If you don't want to purchase anything, you don't have to, and you can still use the free engine. More than a year ago we told you this, and at the time you said your laptop had windows 7. Did that change? You can install L5 on your laptop and continue to use L4 on your desktop.

My laptop already has windows 7

Logos 5 does not work on Windows XP since Microsoft choose to not support .NET Framework 4.5 on Windows XP.

Thanks, I have read those, but they pretty much go over my head. Someday when I have the time to really study it, I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out.

That's what I thought, thank you. There's no point in getting it as when I try to use my library on my laptop, it just makes me want to throw the thing through the window or something as it's so very, very slow. I'll try to remember that it's free for if I ever get a new computer though.

I'm sorry that my poor memory seems to upset some people, but my health problems are what cause my poor memory and there's not much I can do about it.
