Word Lists: Using "surface text"

Is it possible to create a list using the "surface text" (i.e. english)? It would also be helpful to be able to have a "translated by version" column, so that we could quickly see how a particular translation committee (i.e. ESV, NIV, etc.) translated the word.

I don't think it is possible to create a word list from the surface text. If it is I have not figured out how to do it. I could see the value in the column you suggest.

You could do it from a non-reverse interlinear (RI) bible but you would have to add the lemmas. But what would you enter for "was then" in REB Matt 4:1 and is the Card Front what you want/expect?

If generated from a RI you could request that the gloss comes from the English manuscript...

Some users might not care about the lemmas. Another user was asking to see a word count, and his apparent concern was the English text. I really don't use word lists, but suggested the feature to him. When I ran the report, I assumed I would be able to switch it over... but I didn't see a way to do so. I did end up using a non RI translation... but that isn't a good option for most users (who will want to use the translation they want to use).
