Missing my Bible resources...

Ever since I have loaded my L4 I have not had my Bibles on my Mac. I tried to update resources and it did not do anything. There was an earlier post that had mentioned that they were missing their KJV and I posted on there and was told to start my own new post so that maybe others could help. I am willing to try anything.

It looks like your debug logging is not enabled yet. Your nlog.config in ~/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging should look something like the following. If it doesn't, please replace the contents of the file with the following:

There is no Logos4 I am totally missing it. What should I do now?

Look in your home directory NOT the Mac HD.

If you watch the video I made for posting logs, it shows this as well and should help you out.

BTW, I would not bother to post logs at this point until you update to A9. That may fix your problem and save you time.

thomas, sorry this has not worked so far. Your original post said you were missing Bibles, but your list is just a list of books from your account history.

So if you want help fixing a specific problem, can you tell us which SPECIFIC Bibles you are missing?

Thomas, you need to read the list of options that come up when you type the command. You are clicking on the option to "search" your library for the words "Resource Update" so Logos is doing what you asked, it is searching for those words.

If you look carefully at your list, there is an option that actually says, Update: Resources. If you click on this command, it tells Logos to update the resources instaed of searching your library for those words.

I am not able to see The ESV English-Greek Reverse Interlinear New Testament or the Old testament and a few others. It is part of what I bought but does not show up in my library. Is this common or do I need to do something? I have read through many of the forums and such and just curious

I don;t know James, but it is helpful if you start your own thread for a new problem rather than jump into the middle of another thread. It gets a bit confusing to troubleshoot two issues for different people on one thread.

I am not able to see The ESV English-Greek Reverse Interlinear New Testament or the Old testament and a few others.

In Logos 4, currently, the reverse interlinears are implemented differently than in LDLS 3 (Windows) or Libronix 1.2.x (Mac). In the prior generation of software, they were discrete resources that you could read through. In Logos 4, it's implemented as an supplemental information panel below the associated English translation. At the moment, this panel is not yet implemented in the Mac alpha pre-release. However, the interlinear data from the reverse interlinear resources powers many aspects of other features of the software that ARE implemented in the current pre-release alpha. For instance, you can search the ESV for the word λόγος despite the fact that the actual Greek text never appears in the English translation, because Logos 4 indexed the reverse interlinear data along with the English.

The translation section of the Bible Word Study guide makes extensive use of the reverse interlinear data.

There are a number of other features, particularly guide sections, many of which are incomplete, that also utilize the interlinear data in the reverse interlinear resources.
