Footnotes in iWork Pages 5.1

I have asked about this several times and appreciate the responses. I WANT to use the new Pages - it's been out a while now and tweaked up pretty well - but still no footnotes when pasting from Logos. Is this something Logos is trying to figure out or am I stuck with using another word processing program or inserting footnotes manually? Any help would be most appreciated as this would be a time saver for me. Thank you.

Hi Jackie,
I'm sorry for the trouble. We very much want to be able to operate with the new version of Pages, Keynote, etc., but our ability to change Logos so that it works with those applications is contingent on Apple making public how they have changed the clipboard function for them. Apple has not made this information public yet. Once we have that information we can update Logos so that it works with the new clipboard function.

Thanks for the update. Is there a way to ask Apple about this (as it has been out for months)? I appreciate your response and am indebted to Logos - my most important app.

It would also be great if Apple would restore scripting to Pages 5.1 so we can once more use the "Services" feature to copy passages. It still works for Word but not Pages.

You can send them suggestions, but they wont respond. It's probably more effective to go to Apple's forums and post there. I'm sure there are a number of users complaining about the new office suite applications. I get the impression that they stripped a lot out and will likely re-add things as it makes sense, but that is hearsay and conjecture I've heard from tech podcasts I listen to, so don't take it as gospel truth :-).

I don't mean to sound rude but, it's Logos that is going to have to be compliant with Apple. It shouldn't be the customer's (Logos user's) job to hound Apple. The company we pay lots of money to, Logos, should do that, so that their customers are happy. We can do our little part (submitting stuff on forums) but y'all are going to have to be the louder voice for your customers.
Hoping a customer service rep sees this.
