New and Old Base Packages From Logos. How many more can we expect?
I think this is great. Give people all kinds of options.
Greetings James; I'm thinking that Logos will produce a special base package for each denomination in addition to the standard base packages. I could be wrong, but it appears to be going in that direction. And this is good. [:)]
The idea with base-packages is that they would be the first things people consider and sell well. However with this many they can't all sell large volumes - and Logos must have calculated with that, so far from all contain a large share of recent quality resources for a very low total price:
Also, You forgot Catholic Answers Library.
I'm hoping for Orthodox and Jewish ones, but I haven't even seen them advertise for a Jewish Product Manager, so I guess that won't happen in the near future.
Interestingly, however, I can't find the ads for Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist etc Product Managers any more, so perhaps they've filled those positions.
You forgot Catholic Answers Library.
That's not a base package.

It's not in name, but it comes with so much stuff (including bibles, commentaries, catechisms, lectionaries, lexicons, dictionaries, media and datasets) that it is in practice. You really don't need to add anything else to it to have a functional setup.
Hmm. You may be more right than I thought. It doesn't list a single dataset, not even Biblical Facts, but now that I check again, the text further up seems to indicate that some are included nevertheless.

Yeah, it's not clear at all, but since it comes with maps, infographics, and images, I think some datasets would be necessary to index, link and display those things.

It has been an interesting project Is the catholic answers library an actual base package? or a bundle?
Absolutely incredible! *smile*
Big, Big, Big -- Thank You! Psalm 29:11
I was told by Catholic Sales on Dec. 3. 2013 that it's a base-package:
Is the catholic answers library an actual base package? or a bundle?
Catholic Answers is sold as a bundle and as an add-on. The wording on the add-on makes it sound as if there were a base package by that name, but I don't see it quickly and I've got to run.
