dear all,

I was wondering is it possible within logos to highlight all words in a passage with particular forms, for example highlight all participles or all future tense verbs in any given text? for example the usefull website http://biblewebapp.com/study/ has this function and it is extremely useful. is there any way to do this within logos?

Thanks very much

Hi Nathan - and welcome to the forums

Nathan Soper:

Yes you can do this for Bibles with "Reverse Interlinear" capability. It uses a feature in Logos called Visual Filters.

Have a look at the article at http://wiki.logos.com/Visual_Filter and see if that helps get you started.

(Note the article was written for Logos 4. Visual Filters are now created from the Documents menu not the File menu)

You can either create a Visual Filter from the Documents menu or run a morph search to identify the forms you are interested in and click the "Make Filter button

Hope that gets you started but please do feel free to come back with further questions
