Hi guys,
I did a "Logos Collection" from a scan of the books sold by Logos looking for all authors/scholars having studied or having a degree from the Dallas Theological Seminary.
Maybe some of you will find this useful.

Thank you, Sandro!
Very useful!!
You should include notable faculty members (current and past) as well. Most of the ones listed at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_Theological_Seminary#Faculty are in your list (presumably they are also DTS alumni) but you're missing:
I'd like to see volunteers come together to do collection rules like this for all the major seminaries. I'll do one for Regent College. And I'll start a new thread for them all. (EDIT: done; see here.)

just a question someone could help me with.
DTS is dispensational in interpretation of scripture; Waltke and others are reformed. So apart from studying DTS, I am interested to learn how this rule might help me given the variety of theological positions including in the collection? (I wouldn't want to be lumped together with some of the people I studied with!)
But may be I have misunderstood the reason for it. so I am willing to be enlightened....
Waltke used to teach there and was in the dispensational mindset at the time, but he did change his viewpoint and has now been reformed for many years. So maybe he doesn't belong in such a collection. He's in my Regent College collection, though (see the other thread I created). And he might end up in a Westminster Theological Seminary collection too if anyone ever does one for that. And Reformed Theological Seminary.
Many thanks, Sandra and Rosie, this should prove to be useful.

aha. didn't know that. thanks.
Thank you Rosie for your enhancements and especially for doing the "Regent College" collection.
I suggest that we start a new faithlife group for the collections.

If a great mind like Bruce Waltke can see value in both positions by moving from one to the other, perhaps lesser minds (like mine) ought to hold my position with a certain amount of tentativeness and room that I may be wrong.

I think that's good advice for all of us on pretty much all positions we hold where there is not unanimity across all the Christian traditions.

This is a really great idea....if I could make one suggestion, if we are going to put them in the faithlife group, can they be preceded by Seminary: or something similar, like we do in the Theology/Denomination collections? Otherwise, as others are added, they will be all over our collection list and harder to find!
Don, I support your suggestion.

That is what I did with my copy of the collection rules and with those posted in another thread.
Dumb question: I've joined that Faithlife group. Now how do you publish a collection rule as a Document there? I tried going to http://documents.logos.com, and there I did see my collection in the list, but when I chose "Publish" from the Actions menu beside it, "Logos Collections" is not listed among the groups I could publish it to.

Administrators and Moderators of Faithlife Logos Collections can share (publish) documents. Please publish Seminary: Regent College collection.
