Libronix & Blind Users

I have recently been working with a friend (who is blind) at getting him up and running using a Bible program with the JAWS reading software. Does anyone have any suggestions at how to perhaps streamline Libronix so that my friend can easily open the program and navigate to a particular Bible passage without too much trouble.
Current set up opens Libronix to my friends workspace which includes only the Bible.
One current problem -- the pop-up boxes that Libronix has at start-up. How can I disable the "Tips" screen so that it doesn't open at program start up. JAWS does not recognize the window and there is no way for my friend to know where it is on the screen or have any way to shut it down manually.
Any other tips on helping my friend navigate the program will be appreciated.

There is a check box which can be unchecked....
Ctrl+Shift+G will place you in the Quick Navigate Box. There, a resource shortcut can be used "ESV [enter]" will open the ESV,,,
Ctrl+G will place you in the navigation box for the resource - this will recognise abbreviations Rm8.1 will take you to Romans 8:1
Make sure that you look at the keyboard shortcuts in the help file. This will allow you to access the library with Ctrl+L etc....
