Lag in mobile resource updates

There seems to be a lag in resource updates on mobile devices. QSM updated on my computer Tuesday, but it still hasn't updated on my android phone or tablet. Why?

I don't know the details, so perhaps a more knowledgeable employee will comment, but I believe we've been updating the code on the server to be in line with the latest desktop code so we can show the latest versions of resources and it's taken a little longer than expected. I think new and updated resources will be available on mobile soon, but I can't give an estimate because I don't know. [:)]

Well, I hope NOT! I'm not disagreeing with Brian ... some users (most?) might like the latest update on their mobile.
Not me ... we manage our cellular minutes very tightly. When we're at 9.9 gig, an automatic update would be a disaster (marriage-wise).
Or hopefully I'm misunderstanding.

Resource updates don't happen automatically on mobile. At least, they definitely don't happen automatically when you're connected to your cellular network...it may start automatically on wifi, I don't remember (I'm starting to sound like I don't know anything...)
A button will appear on the home page when you have resource updates and you can choose to start the download when it's convenient.

The button sounds good; I haven't noticed it so maybe I've not had any resources that were updated.
Automatic on wifi would be a disaster too, since the cellular comes in on a hotspot with distribution to all the family toys.
My Accordance-PC got his head chopped off on any further resources, when he kept attempting downloading 2g's after his own error message said he lost contact with A-Company's servers.

It has almost been a week. This doesn't seem normal.
You're right, it's definitely not normal, but we're working on it. I apologize for the delay. Please see my reply to this thread for more information: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/83461/591767.aspx
