Bible import template:

This is what I used for importing the RVG, have seen a couple of recent posts (this week) asking about template, this is still a work in process, cant guarantee no issues, especially as no apocrapha (yet)

0830.Raw Bible.zip

Green is for Section/Periscope Titles ie "Jesus Heals Leper" or "Psalm of David"
Yellow is for verse text, spreadsheet does all the other tagging/preprocessing

If you wish you book names in non English, please change on Language worksheet

How to PB it:

copy columns H2:M31103 paste into Word as unformatted text

replace in Word:

  • ^t^t with ^t
  • ^t[with ^p[
  • [H2] with FormatStyle Header2
  • [H3] with FormatStyle Header3
  • replace [H3] with ""(blank)
  • replace [H2] with ""(blank)

finish any other tweaks/adjustments and compile

Hope it helps

I used this recently, but had to make some changes to get it to work in Numbers for Apple, so if anyone comes across this and wants to use numbers instead, here it is.

Also, i added another few columns for compiling a readable version of the Bible that you could use for like an ebook, printing, pdf, etc. The find/replace instructions for that are in the comments for cell Q1.
