I can't figure out how to change the Exegetical word by word "KJV Hebrew or Greek Reverse Interlinear" to the NASB ion my IPAD. Is this possible? On my PC I am able to choose which Reverse Interlinear I want to work with.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums! Smile

The reverse interlinear feature doesn't have a line by line feature on mobile. Instead, simply press and word (while connected to the internet) and select "lookup." This presupposes that you actually own the resources in question.

Thanks for your quick response. Using "Lookup" doesn't give me the books the Exegetical guide gives me. I want to know if there is a way to change the KJV of the reverse Interlinear to NASB reverse interlinear besides using the drop down menu my PC uses. I thought the Logos app on my ipad would pickup my settings from my Logos account on my PC. Maybe I will just have to live with the KJV.

Hi Lisa - I agree it would be nice to be able to change this.

interesting you refer to It defaulting to the KJV, mine seems to be using the ESV.

What is your preferred bible in the iPad app?

Graham

My preferred bible is NASB. Maybe we will have to wait until Logos can fix the issue in a future update.

I want to use the KJV reverse interlinear but cannot get it to come up in the exegetical guide. There has to be a setting to fix this.

Hi Andrew - and welcome to the forums

Andrew Day:

I'm not aware of a setting for this and I don't know how the translation is chosen.

As per my post above the app is using the ESV on my iPad which isn't my preferred Bible so its not tracking desktop prioritisation.

Hopefully someone from Faithlife will be able to comment further, Graham

Hi Graham and Andrew,

I don't know the answer to your question. I can't, tell what bible the Word by Word section of the Exegetical Guide is using. I'm investigating.

A fix is in the works, but I don't have an ETA. Thanks for bringing this up!

Sad

Any update on this issue. I'm still experiencing it in 2017 with iOS 10 on an iPad Pro. 😩
