how would you re-write the summary?

I don't know... I would want to read the book before I write a summary. 

It appears that the summary came from this site: http://www.pleasantplaces.biz/titles/meyer_cheer.php 

... "A collection of various messages to bring happiness to those suffering, using various Bible verses and their meaning."

EDIT: I do see now that this version is better than the one in Logos. Hmm.
