Following the heads up on discontinuing support for Android 2.3 (http://community.logos.com/forums/p/86001/603798.aspx#603798) I am looking for a new phone

Does anyone know if the Motorola Moto G will run the Bible! app?

My concern is that while you can get it in either 8GB or 16GB models it doesn't have SD expansion capabilities and I believe the Logos apps require / expect an SD card.

Any guidance appreciated

Thanks, Graham

The Android operating system provides a "fake" SD card on all Android devices, even if they have a real SD card, so you shouldn't any problems with the Moto G. I've heard it's a great phone (along with the Moto X)!  My only word of caution from my personal experience: my current phone is an 8 GB Nexus 4, and I really wish I had bought the 16 GB version. I frequently find myself running out of storage space and need to delete apps or pictures so I can keep using my phone.

It runs great on my Moto G 8gb and the screen size/resolution are a good fit. I've done a fair bit of reading on it when I'm about and about

Thanks Matthew, that's really helpful

I ordered it earlier today, looking forward to seeing how it works.
