It seems I ask this question now every year since I've been using the Logos app... so...here we are again...
When can we have the ability to change the font type in mobile devices??
It has been a while since we were promised that it would be coming. Hmm.

I'm giving this a bump again - It's been over a year since I asked the last time (check the date of the first post in this thread) and this is perhaps my third year running, but I'm still asking... may see you again in 2016 ;)

Just out of interest... would you like to have a small selection of fonts or all the fonts available on the iPad?

How to get logs and post them. (now tagging post-apocalyptic fiction as current affairs)
Just a small selection would do me, anything would be better than the current font. I'd be happy even with Calibri. I'm not sure why it is such a low priority since the majority of the time the user experience is based on the reading of the resources.
Ah, another year passes and still no option to change font type on mobile devices... I think I'm just going to go cry in a corner
I don't know if this was ever "promised" or not, but here's a UserVoice request you can vote on: https://logosmobile.uservoice.com/forums/190765-logos-mobile-apps/suggestions/3647494-let-me-choose-a-the-font-on-ios .

From November 28, 2012!
Kevin Byford (Faithlife):The development team intends to add the ability to use more than one font, although I don't exactly know when this will be implemented. Thanks for your patience.
From December 6, 2012!
Kevin Byford (Faithlife):There are plans to eventually add this feature, but I have no idea when.

Development plans and intentions do not equal a "promise". Plans can change and the best intentions sometimes don't pan out. If in your mind what I said constitutes a "promise" I apologize.

I think they are planning to release this at the same time they are planning to release the ability to read PB's

We shouldn't gang up on Kevin. He's a good guy.
I do think that it was a "promise," because I believe "your word should be your bond". Personally, I don't care about this issue at all, but there are a number of users who feel strongly about it. It is becoming clear to me that mobile app development is getting the short end of the stick.
When users complain about personal books (a feature I really do want), I am more understanding because I understand the reasons why it hasn't been implemented (and even named some of them prior to FL doing so). Features like this, however, should be fairly standard to any eBook app.
I'm not sure about the universality of font selection. This afternoon, I'm reading a Geza Vermes (which for the uninitiated, means not-Logos).
On my Kindle it has a font ranked by FHA (Font Haters of America) as probably the worst font ever devised. I reached for the Aaa icon, only to discover Aaa means size only.

Don't give up: remember Romans 5
"suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope"
Let's hope for 2017, or 18, 19, or maybe 20...

I am not sure exactly what you are talking about, but the kindle app (iOS) has 8 typefaces to choose from. My Kindle Paperwhite device has the same. If there is a particular resource which isn't able to use different typefaces, I believe it. Is your resource in Hebrew? In which case, I wouldn't expect the "designed for english" typefaces to work for the Hebrew.
You're correct, but the pattern appears to be book specific. So much so, that the footnote numbers aren't active, but do respond to being re-sized. Geza carries a nice grouping of monographs, english, but understandably not in Logos (instead needing librarian approval for evangelical peeking).
Gosh, I realised I didn't post for 2017...should that matter ;)
Almost 4yrs of asking and still waiting.. sigh. Yes, I know a lot has happened in 4yrs, but still....not option to change the font - I am still crying in a corner
