KJV vs KJV1900
How can I configure RefTagger so that it displays a tooltip from the Authorized Version rather than the King James Version?
The word on the street (namely https://gist.github.com/joshcrews/9667107) is that using "kjv" will display a text from the Authorized Version and "kjv1900" shows the King James Version.
But when using the JavaScript described at http://reftagger.com/customize/, setting the Bible version as "kjv" displays a verse from KJV1900 rather than the Authorized Version.

I have a question somewhat off topic. Do you find a difference between the two? I have both the "AV" and the "KJV1900" in Logos and performed a side by side comparison and it didn't find any differences in text. Just curious. [:)]

Thank you, Brandon, for Verse Click, I manage several websites, & am glad the Lord led me to a KJV alternative to Logos reftagger, which recently changed their KJV selection to KJV1900 (Cambridge Paragraph Edition) which has spelling variations from the KJV 1769.

As I understand it the spelling make it to the more modern spellings of the same words. Is that an issue?

In Logos Bible Software, the "Authorized Version" is the 1769 edition while the "King James Version" is the c.1900 edition commonly called the "Pure Cambridge Edition".
The differences amount to some slight variations in spelling, capitalizations, punctuation, and use of italics. For example, try searching for "inquire" and "enquire" in both editions using Logos.A few other examples include:

I use this on my main ministry site and either want to display KJV or nothing. I do not want to display KJV 1900. Is there a fix or a workaround for this problem? I do see it as a problem since I am talking to newborns as well.

Which KJV do you want to display? Or is the KJV1900 correct, you just don't want the tooltip to say KJV instead?
