When I open the Sermon Starter Guide from the link in the Topic Guide, the Sermon Starter Guide is opened rather than My Sermon Start Guide.
I created "My Sermon Starter" with the Template type = Sermon Theme in v5.2a and it was opened for Anger and other themes. But the TG link opened the default SSG in the 5.2b beta, which you were clearly using. When I came back to v5.2a it also opened the default SSG.
Your illustration is confusing as it shows a different theme in SSG.
I deleted all my Sermon Starter guides and let Logos sync. After creating "My Sermon Starter Guide" (Template type = Sermon Theme, no Bookstore section) in v5.2b beta it was opened for Anger and other themes.
And this template works OK in v5.2a! I think Logos should have enough info to track the bug!
Which is another bug I've reported ... sorry I didn't notice it here. And thanks for confirming some of these Dave.
I'm not able to replicate this in 5.2a SR-7. I don't have the beta on the machine I use. You may want to post in the beta forums for problems you're experiencing when using the beta. I understand we've released an RC, but it will get more rapid attention from devs and the QA folks there.
What I did to replicate:
When I create a new Sermon Starter Guide, alter it, and name it "My Sermon Starter Guide" clicking on "Anger" from Topic Guide after searching for "Anger" the Sermon Starter Guide opens up as expected.
Let me know if I missed something and give me detailed steps to replicate. Thanks.

I'm only able to replicate this when I don't wait for the picker to appear. I'm going to try to find your other case about this and submit a case about it regardless because I don't understand why the second option in the picker would be used when not allowing the picker to appear.
