A modern Mormonism collection, from Oxford Press, Eerdman's, and others

These are all respectable academic authors and titles.
Might there be a chance of seeing some, given the recent appearance of books from Oxford?

Another good book to probably add to this collection would probably be:
Correcting the Cults: Expert Responses to Scripture Twisting by Norman L. Geisler and Ron Rhodes

A good solid Mormon collection that is modern would be nice.
https://www.logos.com/product/16021/mormon-studies-collection is pre-40s, interesting, useless for discussion (arguing), and going nowhere.
But given the cornecopeia of anti-Mormon books in Logos, I have my doubts anything 'by' Mormons will succeed.
Logos is hesitant to even carry resources that discuss the OT/NT manuscripts in depth, so there's somewhat of a parallel fear.
A few years back I drove up to St George to go shopping at the Mormon bookstore. It was quite interesting, reflecting a greater openness than even a decade ago. One $100 volume I liked, I gave away at church, and will likely drive back up there for another.

I would add a few more titles to a responsible, scholarly Mormon Studies collection. These have all been published since I wrote the original post, and represent a selection from academic, peer-reviewed authors.
Oxford Press
- Teryl Givens, Wrestling the Angel, Foundations of Mormon Thought: Cosmos, God, Humanity
- Givens, Feeding the Flock, Foundations of Mormonism: Church and Praxis
- Jana Riess, The Next Mormons: How Millennials Are Changing the LDS Church
- Foundational Texts of Mormonism: Examining Major Early Sources
- Stapley, The Power of Godliness: Mormon Liturgy and Cosmology
- Patrick Mason (Chair of Mormon Studies at Claremont) The Mormon Menace: Violence and Anti-Mormonism in the Postbellum South
- John Turner and Patrick Mason, Out of Obscurity: Mormonism since 1945
- Paul Reeve, Religion of a Different Color: Race and the Mormon Struggle for Whiteness
UNC Press
- Thomas Simpson, American Universities and the Birth of Modern Mormonism, 1867–1940
- Max Perry Mueller, Race and the Making of the Mormon People
- Larry Morris, A Documentary History of the Book of Mormon (reproduces many rare primary sources)
Columbia University Press
- Randall Balmer and Jana Riess, Mormonism and American Politics
University of Illinois Press
- A new series focused on introductions to Mormon thought.
- Harris, Thunder from the Right: Ezra Taft Benson in Mormonism and Politics (Benson was both the US Secretary of Agriculture, an LDS Apostle, and President of the Church in the 1980s.)
Maxwell Institute
Kofford Press (a newer small press that does LDS history, biography, and theology; Most of their volumes would fit an academic Mormonism package)
- The Expanded Canon: Perspectives on Mormonism and Sacred Texts
- Mormonism at the Crossroads of Philosophy and Theology: Essays in Honor of David L. Paulsen
- Perspectives on Mormon Theology: Apologetics
Both BYU Studies and Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought are going free/open next year, and might be open to allowing their backlog to go into Logos for free or cheap. I know people at both.
And all of these would benefit from being able to hyperlink to uniquely LDS scripture, if Logos could get permission to input the Book of Mormon, D&C, and Pearl of Great Price. I've heard a rumor Accordance is doing that, but just a rumor."The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of Conservatives is to prevent mistakes from being corrected."- G.K. Chesterton

Anything between Mormons and Eastern or Oriental Orthodox Christians, or Mormons and Catholics, that you might recommend, Ben?

There is not a lot, alas, even though Mormonism and Catholicism have a lot more in common than Mormonism and Protestantism. I haven't read this, but I liked Stephen Webb (RIP).

Ben, would adding a Feedback page for your excellent suggestions would be in order?

Bumping this for Ben (whom I have known for a long time). I'm an evangelical Christian / never-Mormon and a TEDS PhD student, but I attended Brigham Young University for undergrad and have a long-time interest in Mormon history.
This would be another good addition to a hypothetical modern Mormon studies bundle:
Mormonism in Dialogue with Contemporary Christian Theologies -- Mercer University Press
There might have been a Catholic or an Orthodox essay in that volume; I can't remember, it's been a while since I read it.
