Is there REALLY a competition?? Maybe my calculator batteries might be weak but I think Logos could rename the ChristianDiscourse site, the TruthOfProphesies.com site. Smile.
Wow, that would be pretty awkward, because I decided a couple of days ago not to post anything on ChristianDiscourse anymore. I lost 30 pages of my book due to an errant save mistake and I am taking that as a sign I need to devote my time and attention to getting that responsibility from the "behind schedule" pile to the "completed" pile, regardless of the amount of time (months) it will take to complete it.
I noticed that my email inbox was glutted with contest comments about an hour ago, so I am concluding that they are related to this contest. Frankly, I don't even know if I entered it. If by some freak lightning strike I did win, I do have a few "in-process" comments I was working on and saved to Word that I could submit, but I really would rather not post them, since all they would do is generate additional responses that require further counter-responses. This small arms fire is quite time consuming, and I have no desire at this time to end the battles by resorting to tactical or strategic nukes...it simply isn't time...yet. Besides, I don't even have Facebook or Twitter accounts. [:#]
If I did win, I would probably give it to my son. I think he may be reaching the age where his interest in Biblical issues is ready to kick in. I doubt I will have to deal with that decision though. Congrats to the winner, whoever it may be!
Well, you have to admit, you're pretty quick on your debating toes. We live up above tennis courts in a resort; a master player drills 15 learners at a time. That reminds me of you. Of course, we already wondered about what happened to your book.
But the whole win-a-Logos5-Gold is refreshing. Folks getting a prize to just argue. I'm too young to remember the days when the circus would arrive, and they had very unusual acts. Debating Christians, really tall people, booths for shooting little rabbits (not real ones). Yes, those must have been the good old days.
