Where do you keep hearing it?     Have you searched your Logos yet?

Searching 5.3 Beta 1 for Hebron found many results.  Topic section had Guide suggestion:

    Keep Smiling [:)]

Hebron is a city in what is now known as the West Bank, south of Jerusalem, in the central mountain range west of the Dead Sea and the Jordan River:

Perhaps you have been hearing about it a lot in the news lately. Hebron (al-Khalil in Arabic) is one of the places most hotly contested between Israel and the Palestinians. It is in Palestinian territory, but Israel has designs upon it (currently it is home to about 165,000 Palestinians, as well as 500 Israeli settlers concentrated in the Old City, where the Israeli Army has control). I'd better not say more because it could be a contentious political issue which doesn't belong on the Logos forums. Others have given you some hints about how to search for more info.

Incidentally, my church supports Christian Peacemaker Teams, and a missionary from our church was deployed in Hebron for some years working to try to help resolve the conflict there. CPT is a mostly Mennonite organization, committed to principles of non-violence. Pray for peace in Hebron and the whole region.

OK. It seems that Logos staff keeps deleting my posts (that's very rude, Bradley!!!). Come on guys, it's not very wise to lie. I know what is Hebron... And is indeed a town in Israel, but also...
