Thanks, David. I compared your list to my list of 700+. All but a couple were on my list with a priority of 1. I added the others.

Happy to hear the list is so substantial :)

Are they largely current ones, or older public domain journals?

I'm interested in both, but preference to the newer ones.

Both. It's as comprehensive as I've been able to make it. I've included anything and everything I've come across in my extensive research. I've typically prioritized the best of the current journals higher than the others.

I've looked through the bibliography of my thesis to see which journals I used most often. Like all lists, it's discipline-dependent (pneumatology/NT), but it might be helpful. Because I was partly looking at how passages were interpreted within evangelicalism, the list contains journals that would be appropriate both for the ETS-type audience, and the SBL-type audience. I've struck through those you already have - not many!:

  1. Paraclete
  2. New Testament Studies
  3. Journal of Biblical Literature
  4. Journal of Pentecostal Theology
  5. Bibliotheca Sacra
  6. Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society
  7. Catholic Biblical Quarterly
  8. Expository Times
  9. Interpretation
  10. Journal for the Study of the New Testament
  11. Evangelical Quarterly
  12. Novum Testamentum
  13. Westminster Theological Journal
  14. Asian Journal of Pentecostal Studies
  15. Biblical Theology Bulletin
  16. Pneuma
  17. Tyndale Bulletin
  18. The Bible Translator
  19. Journal of Theological Studies
  20. The Spirit and Church
  21. Vox Evangelica
  22. Bulletin of the Evangelical Theological Society
  23. Concordia Theological Monthly
  24. Journal for the Study of the Old Testament
  25. Themelios
  26. Wesleyan Theological Journal

Some of these should be easy to get, as they're available free online, or cheaply on CD.

Just to make my above list complete I would add Journal of Biblical Literature (which you already carry), JETS, Tyndale Bulletin, Biblical Interpretation, Biblica, Journal for the Study of the Historical Jesus, Expository Times, Jewish Quarterly Review, Semeia Studies (which you carry), Interpretation, Neotestamentica, Trinity Journal, and Bibliotheca Sacra.

As you seem to be creating a megalist, here's a longer list of journals I used. Italics indicate those that aren't theological/biblical studies journals (most of them are in the Classics). These were not as useful as the first list I posted, but still have some value and possible wider appeal. And, if you're not already familiar with it, then this page will be invaluable. It's the journals held at Tyndale House, one of the world's biggest Biblical Studies libraries. If they have it, the chances are it will be useful in Logos:

  1. Affirmation & Critique
  2. African Methodist Episcopal Zion Quarterly Review
  3. American Benedictine Review
  4. American Church Quarterly
  5. American Journal of Archaeology
  6. Ancient Society

Scottish Bulletin of Evangelical Theology

Yes

Foundations has previously been suggested here.
More info on RTJ here. It's produced by my denomination - if Logos go for this and are struggling with rights/back issues, let me know!

From Mark's shorter list, Evangelical Quarterly is a must. And it's disappointing that the Tyndale Bulletin is no longer available now the Galaxie journals have been pulled.

I know most of the guys at Foundations, and I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem from their perspective in getting it into Logos.
