I just updated now on one laptop, from Verbum 5.2a to the latest stable release 5.2b (SR-7). I haven't fixed the keyboard (yet) so I haven't been able to use fully. They haven't released the massive update yet - and I intentionally didn't want to wait for it:W7 64-bit, 4GB RAM, slow CPU (1.3 GHz Core2Duo), SSD.

mab:I'm wondering if it might not actually be easier to uninstall and reinstall to handle this update. Will the new resources be in the pipeline for fresh installs by Monday morning? I realize this is slower but it might actually be less problematic.
More problematic. Just make the space and download.

Must all be a false alarm. It is almost 12:15 am here, Eastern Time, thus 9:15 pm in the state of Washington, and nothing has happened yet! The opening page updated to October 27, 2014, but that is all. I was hoping to receive the "massive update" while Internet service here has less traffic.
I don't know if this can be done in increments, but I have been using "update resources", and receiving 20 to 35 MB per download. I then repeat the process, and restart. I have restarted ewt 20 times so far.

Yeah, I don't think you want to run that command. The update hasn't rolled yet. I think you're just redownloading the older versions you already have. See the bottom of the page here: https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_5_Commands

The proper command for this event is update now, or just restart Logos. You use Update resources to check for missing resources/metadata.
Now something started: Logos is downloading 1.53 GB of updates.

My download is happening now. 80% of 2.26 GB.
Downloaded 1.47GB, 1574 resources.
I was expecting some more, since my library is 16.4GB in size with over 5000 resources, but I'm happy with this.

Being compressed, that could represent up to 9 GB of your library.
