Just installed - question: Font(s)

I just got L6 installed. I had switched to a simple layout before the upgrade so it could come up quickly. The font in my default Bible (ESV) looks different. I don't remember what specific font I did have set for my default resource font, but it's Cambria now.

Does anyone know if the "default" default font (so to speak) was something other than Cambria before? I'm not sure how to figure out what it had been, but the appearance is definitely different.

Any other explanations?

Hi, Donnie. The "default" font for resource text is Skolar in both L5 and L6. Before that it was Athelas. It's never been Cambria, so that's probably the system-level Windows font substitution at work (?). If you manually change your resource font to Skolar in Tools > Program Settings, does it look right?

You didn't ask, but: The UI font is Source Sans Pro in both L5 and L6.

Thanks for the reply. There is no "Skolar" in the list of fonts in that Settings dropdown. I tried changing it to the top entry in the dropdown, "Default," and that doesn't look the same as it did before either. This is on Windows 7 Ultimate, 6.1.7601 SP1 Build 7601.

I think I've figured one thing out about my font situation. I have had my resource size at 110%. When I reduced it to 100%, the font in my resources looked much more like it had before. Unfortunately, the text size in my search windows is too small at that size.

Is there any explanation as to why a font would have increased in display size with the L6 release, even though the settings hadn't changed?

Or why Skolar isn't in my font list (per Eli)?
