Start up time to 3 columns with Passage Guide open, NIV 1984 open, and BDAG open in the columns is down to 21 seconds today. About where I was with Logos 5. That one minute twenty seconds yesterday had me bothered. But I am happy, happy, happy again. After all who knows what I might want to do with that extra minute each day!

For me it just took 1 minute 26 seconds.
Depends on the day for me. This morning (offline) it opened in about 10 seconds, but I have waited as long as 2 minutes before.

15.96 seconds to a blank layout. 14.4 seconds to load my default layout. Seems longer when I'm not timing it though. :)

Occasionally the Internet sync will really slow it down, and it will take around 30 seconds. From what I have seen, by far the area where Faithlife probably could most easily speed up the startup time would be by optimizing the way the Internet is accessed - if the Homepage speed improvements in v6 are any indication, hopefully this is in fact possible.
Currently I have 29 resources and that took about 55 seconds.
Booting to a blank screen took 24 seconds.
Some of you are getting much better times that me but this is not a big issue for me since I leave Logos open most of the time.

In the command box type "close all".
Synchronize with Logos.
Close the program.
Now, hold the CTRL button down when you start Logos6. Wait...Wait. Once it loads.. close it down.
Go to your file menu and in documents there is a directory called Logos Log Files. One of the files is named Logos.log. Double click it to open it.
Now do a search CTRL F and type "main window"
It will give you the date and time how may seconds it takes to load to the main window.

Okay...I tried it (without the hold down on CTRL part, which I don't think you need): Three runs—11.8, 12.6, 11.6 seconds. Average 12 seconds to the blank main window.

When I eventually upgrade the system, you can probably take the integer away. Lol

Just for Logos.
About a minute for me opening to a blank screen. I believe it's the same each time. My laptop is about 5 years old...

I'm planning to upgrade my laptop in a few months. All my programs load slowly, especially Microsoft Word programs.

That would be a good move. Not only in regard to Logos, but for the other progressive programs as well.
Concerning your current machine, it is probably due for a reformat and reinstallation. I have found this to be necessary with Windows every year or so, but its not an easy and straightforward task. I used to do this with my main workstations every year, but lately it has been 2-3 years. I'm moving into the realm of "Just change the machine, and give the old one away".
35 seconds to 58 seconds.
