Is there a way to get personal book in mac without having a docx file?
No. The "personal book builder" uses .docx files to "compile" and import into the Logos ecosystem. You DON'T have to use MSFT Word, but it does have to be .docx.
You can save Pages documents in this format.
Good point, Aaron. And by using Pages, I'm able to include functional hyperlinks to Logos resources. By contrast, when I use MS Word for Mac 2011 I have not been able to generate Logos resource hyperlinks that actually work in PBs on the Mac.
Has anybody else had success generating functional Logos resource hyperlinks in PBs by using Word for Mac 2011 to create the document & links?
You can also use LibreOffice, which is free.
