Question: Changing Home Page if you own multiple Base Packages?

I own several base packages- Logos, Verbum and Reformed. Is it possible to switch my Home Page default to a different package settings?

There is a little gear that lets you change things on your home page, bottom left I think.
Whqt at specifically are you looking to change?

The gear seems now to be in the upper right corner of the Home Page in Logos 6. I was curious whether there was a simple way to change or toggle from Verbum default Home Page to the Logos default Home Page or Reformed when I own those base packages? I do not see any options for this in tools or settings.

Right now, there isn't a toggle to switch between Logos and Verbum modes.
The various other base packages don't make any changes to the homescreen and related settings, so any prioritization or changes are left to the user to customize (e.g. prioritized Bibles, Commentaries, and Lexicons).

There's a command set verbum to yes or set verbum to no which should change the way the default home page looks if you're running the Logos app (as opposed to the Verbum app, which I don't think you can do this with, but I'm not sure). Enter the command in the command bar at the top of the main Logos layout screen.
EDIT:

Really? I thought the command I mentioned just above will do it. But perhaps not if you're running the Verbum installed executable.

You're right, that works fine (for those who know about it!). I was only referring to the settings/preferences on the homescreen. Hopefully we can have these sorts of things simplified to a toggle in the future.

Ah yes, I see.

Thanks. I will give a try. It is indexing now and it usually takes some time so I will try in the morning. Happy Thanksgiving!

He can also drag those commands to the toolbar as you can with all program settings. I've wished (somewhere on the forums that I can't find right now) that there was a toggle type toolbar button for yes/no settings, as currently you have to have to buttons to toggle back and forth.

What does this command actually do?

It changes the User Interface to have the Verbum-specific features that are normally not present (e.g., full lectionary features) and changes the logo to the Verbum logo. It's completely reversible and harmless, so try it out and see if you like it. If you don't, just set it back to no.

It does more than that.
It also changes some of the default guides, and changes the default prioritisation.
I'm also not sure whether it will work if you haven't purchased Verbum.

I haven't (yet) purchased any of the Verbum packages and the "set verbum xxx" command doesn't work for me.

I have tried running the command but it doesn't work probably because I'm running the Verbum installed executable(Verbum app ?). If this is so, I wonder if there is a fix so that I can use the set verbum command?
Actually I tried again and it appears to work when I close and reopen Logos- Thanks!

This command was added before the Verbum app was released. Now that Verbum is available as a standalone app, it's deprecated and may be removed in a future release.

I have the same issue. I frequently switch back and forth between packages mainly picking the package based on the resources. So I was once on the basic Logos package and then moving over to Verbum and then picking up the Anglican package. Got version 6.0 Verbum. What I would like is to pick what home page I desire. The Logos page has more information then the Verbum.
And it it looks like the SET command doesn't work.

Thanks for the info! Great to know.
