Visual Filters

My personal filters are not showing up in the "Visual Filter" section of my Greek and English Bibles. They are still there in the documents section. Any ideas why that may be?

If a filter cannot apply to a resource it will not appear in the list. We would need a screen shot of the filter (use the paperclip icon to insert it in a post) to see why they don't appear for particular resources.

Did you select them from the visual filter pull down and after selection if you right click you can show in all appropriate resources.

Here is a screen shot. As you can see there isnt even the option for visual filters on drop down even though I have several made.
Very strange - you don't even seem to have the "Timeline events" filter (red outline below) which is linked to the resource
Do you have a scroll bar in the dropdown (blue outline above) which isn't showing in the screenshot
If you look at the dropdown on your ESV is it is the same? Trying to understand whether what you are seeing is specific to the NA28

I do not have a dropdown. It stops after Sympathetic highlighting with no option to go further. Also, it applies to all of my visual filters for the NA 28 and my bibles and apparently all of my books. Thanks for the reply!

Similar sounding problems in the past have been to do with indexing
I suggest you try the command "rebuild index" in the command box and see if the filters reappear after indexing is complete. This may take some hours to complete.

Can you move the mouse in the visual filters drop down window and using mouse to scroll down? Do you have scroll on your mouse or trackpad?
if the scroll does not work Graham is right indexing would be the next step. Below are the indexing commands, I would try the one Graham suggested it indexes everything. However, it takes the longest. FYI on the other rebuild commands.
Rebuild Index
Rebuild Index forces a complete reindex of the library. It will restart the Indexer from the beginning if it is already running.
Rebuild Library Index deletes and rebuilds just the library index (not Bibles)
Rebuild Bible Index deletes and rebuilds just the Bible index (not the Library).
Rebuild Personal Book Index deletes and rebuilds the Personal Book index.0 -
I did the rebuild index command but the problem is continuing. Any other ideas? Thanks for the replies!

Change "All Resources" to just ESV then open ESV and check the visual filter pull down and see if it is there for the ESV. I did not notice this at first. If that works you can right click and add to appropriate resources to show up in your other bibles.
I assume scrolling did nothing, that your screen shots show the entire list of visual filters.

As well as the visual filter menu not showing the visual filters it doesn't show any notes
If you have created a note in a resource the associated notes document should appear in this list as well
If you haven't created a note in the NA28 (or another resource which is showing this issue) please do so and see if the notes document appears in the VF dropdown
If you aren't familiar with creating notes please see https://wiki.logos.com/Notes_$28ver_4.5_$26_up$29

If none of the above works, try the following to recreate one from scratch.
- Create a Morph search with the first entry (@V??M) Verbal Mood VF using just the ESV resource
- Make sure search results can be seen in the ESV
- From the search panel save as visual filter call it any thing other than Verbal Mood VF
- Check the ESV visual search and see if it is there
If it works, at this point modify your new visual filter as you want.
By the way what version and platform are you on?

Thank you all for the replies. It was the indexing. I rebuilt the index and let it run. It all seems to working fine now. Thanks again!
