[acknowledge]Inline Search Dropdown Text Suggestion Behavior
As Alan Palmer requested, I am uploading logs and screencasts (currently not able to upload screencasts to the forum) demonstrating the problems I'm experiencing. In this post, I show how the auto text-suggestion in the search entry box of "inline search" drops down after the search is performed, thus covering the search results.

I don't see any indication here of poor performance (did I miss it?) but I will create a case for the autocomplete appearing after the search was already performed.

No, performance is quite good with searching. I'll put up some of the other issues later as they surface once I get back to my machine.

No need. I've updated the case to reflect this information.

I was able to reproduce it at will. It has to do with the position of the mouse pointer. If the my pointer is near the entry box field, it wants to drop down the menu after the search is complete. I'm trying to upload the sample from the logging utility but the site is not allowing at this time. Will try from home later.
