Thanks for starting a new thread! May be it will get a little more attention! :)
Feel free to write reviews on products that you really want to go over--the kind of experience you can share from the time you've spent reading and researching your favorite authors is invaluable. I'm sure there are many people who go to the product page and choose not to bid because there aren't many reviews or raving opinions, and that extra bit of information you can provide might help someone jump on board. Especially with Community Pricing, where to most people these authors are more obscure and forgotten, and many people come to the product thinking, "Who is this guy? Why should I care to read him?"
Even if you have a strong opinion against an author, your informed review can help fellow Christians make more informed purchasing decisions. Though personally, I only write reviews on products where I want my favorite authors and subjects to be read more. :)
Even better value now - down to $13
I just saw this thread. I guess there are two of them.
Using adventure and community to challenge young people to continually say "yes" to God
Milton S. Terry's work on Biblical Hermeneutics was the first Christian book outside the Bible that I purchased as a teenager. I read it through three times while I was in the eleventh grade. I underlined many significant (to me at least) passages. Whoever you are, and whatever your background, this book is a readable, inspirational, and most informative volume. The edition I bought from the Grand Bible and Bookstore in Highland Park, Michigan (a once very nice city inside the city of Detroit) has a green dust jacket, and was a Zondervan reprint about 700 pages long, as I recall. It is still about the most thorough treatment of Biblical Hermeneutics I have found, and I have a four-foot bookshelf devoted to that subject in my personal library. That book taught me enough that I was able to trounce the Graduate School seminar professor who thought my approach to interpreting literature and especially poetry was all wrong. When I taught English in public high school, I taught my students the rules of interpretation. I had boiled the rules down to about twelve, and placed them on the blackboard. I have since developed my "Rules of Interpretation" for Bible interpretation to a list containing 23 or 24 items in the October 2010 archives at my www.realbiblestudy.com website.
I have had my bid in for a good while now, and am looking forward to being able to study more of Milton Terry's work. I am especially interested in reading what he has to say about Bible prophecy. I am sure I won't fully agree with him now that I have thoroughly studied George N. H. Peters' work, The Theocratic Kingdom. Nevertheless, having been a high school and then college champion debater, I love to get trounced, and Milton Terry would be the one author capable of doing just that. I enjoy that sort of thing because it forces me to dig deeper into the Bible.
Just a few more bids and it will hit $12. Another day & 1/2, and it might hit $11.

I really think that this is going to be one of those "Kick Your Self in the ----- " for those people who don´t take advantage of this offer.
It is really close to a dollar a book, and I see at least three of them that are going to be good additions to my library!

A lot of people refuse to 'look a gift-horse in the mouth' (sigh...) So penny-pinching!
I'm in.
