I just received an ad offering the current EB because I had bid on the 1911 edition.  The problem is that I find no reference to the 1911 edition on Logos' website.  Has this been removed?  Even if I already had the current edition, I would like the 1911 edition (many very famous scholars contributed).

Search on Brittanica doesn't seem to bring it  up, but searching on Encyclopedia does. Here is a link

Can anyone shed light on this?  We have a community price encyclopedia offer which has languished for years and now this new Noet offer.  What does it mean?

It probably means that because the new version is already available electronically from the publishers, it costs much less to produce than the 1911 version which isn't available electronically (at least not to a good enough quality).
