[resolved]Bug: Linkset Does Not Work on New Interactive Tools
The linkset option does not work for the Psalms Explorer, Proverbs Explorer, or Parallel Gospel Reader. I'm on a mac and link set has never worked for these tools. Is this a bug since the option for it is in the drop down menu? Does anyone else have this same issue?
If the link set option was functional on these it would make them much more useful and they would be readable along side regular Bible reading.

Hi, Liam. We agree link set functionality would be great for some interactives, and we plan to add it some day. In the meantime, it's definitely a bug that the link set UI still appears in the panel menu even though it doesn't do anything. I looked in our bug tracking database and there were already open cases for both issues.
Thanks!

From the dates, I'd assume it has read "resolved" for some time. In standard forum usage "resolved" does not mean that the software has changed, only that the issue has received a satisfactory answer ... or as "satisfactory" as possible under the circumstances.

The Link set (and Send hyperlinks here) options for the Proverbs Explorer still don't seem to work (7.8 Beta 3 WIN 7.8.0.0013). Are they supposed to? Or going to?
Replication:
- Open Proverbs Explorer and NASB95.
- Set both to link set "A"
- Enter a Bible reference or scroll through the book of Proverbs in NASB95 and nothing happens in Proverbs Explorer.
- Nothing happens in NASB95 when scrolling through the Proverbs Explorer (with or without filter attributes selected).
Expectation: (when the link set is the same in both)
- Changing the Bible verse in one (NASB95 or Proverbs Explorer) would cause a change to the same Bible verse in the other when the Bible verse is available in both.
- Changing the Bible verse in NASB95 (e.g., Prov. 4:2) would cause Proverbs Explorer to move to the Bible passage that contains the same Bible verse (e.g., Prov 4:1-27) AND update the left-side filter menu (by hiding the attributes that don't apply) and top-side filer list (indicating which filter attributes are active) so the user can learn about that passage and modify the results in the Proverbs Explorer (with corresponding changes in NASB95) to explore various related proverbs.
