BUG: Formatting in Clippings (L6.2 b1 Mac OSX 10.10.3)
I rarely ever use clippings, but in trying to use the feature today, I <think> I discovered a bug. I was wondering if I could highlight text... I doubted it... but then I saw "background color." I assume that kind of makes a highlight, only clicking "no color" didn't do anything. I expected a color picker to pop up. Furthermore, clicking on "automatic" under "text color" didn't do anything either.

I can reproduce this, and I've created a case.

Fixed in 6.9.

For clarification: The bug was the icon and the fix was removing it? Just checking. Someone asked about highlighting in clippings and I remembered this thread.
Does that mean that "text color" was not supposed to be an option?

That is correct, this button shouldn't have been available.
