Outrageous Price Increase

I must say I am frustrated and disgusted. Frustrated with Logos and disgusted with myself. I found a couple of journal sets on pre-pub this morning before work
https://www.logos.com/product/46387/tjl-upgrade-bundle
This one was listed at $55 (and change).

This one was listed at $5. (and change)
I thought those prices made sense given that as one who had kept my Galaxie journal collections up to date, they looked like about right for upgrade pricing. I have 24 or the 26 volumes in the second collection. But silly me, i decided to eat, shower and buy them over lunch on my lunch break. Yet when I cam back the prices had increased so significantly that I thought surely there had been a mistake! the first one went from $55 to $200 and the second from $5 to an astronomical (relatively speaking) $70! That is a 14x increase!
I tried calling a sales rep who was polite and who very politely said if you see a price you like buy it then. Period. I try not to get too wound up about logos pricing but really?
I am not sure if this is lesson learned or not. Or perhaps better, I am not sure what the lesson is to learn here: drop everything and buy now? Or Simply to expect the occasional radically unreasonable price changes.

I have a feeling that the first time you looked at them you were logged into your Faithlife account and saw the dynamic price. The second time you looked at them you were not logged in and saw the full price. Try logging into your account on logos.com to see if that changes things. Hope this helps!

I just checked and the dynamic prices for me are still the $55 and $5.

I wish that were the case. I am indeed signed into my account. I dearly hope that this isn't a reflection of dynamic pricing since the price is essentially $35/journal for JGES!

Well, if you want them, according to Logos you had better order now! I tried logging out and back in and the price is still the same highly elevated price for me. Thanks for confirming those prices Mr. Quick. I can only hope that there is a problem that will get fixed.

Something is wrong, because I am also showing them currently at $55 and $5.

It sounds like I am due to call Logos again then. Thanks.

Thanks. I did pre-order them. I agree with Joseph that something is wrong.

I just logged out of my account and checked the prices and the TJL Upgrade is $199 and the Journal of Grace Evangelical Society is $69.
It sounds like, even though you are logged in, you are not seeing the dynamic prices.

Tim, it seems there was a temporary glitch with the information who owns what (licence server down?), which would give wrong dynamic prices, i.e. full prices instead. Don't worry, it seems this was only for a short period of time and works again now.

We're working on this. I'll post further updates to this thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/102733.aspx
Apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.
