Does anyone have both of these? I may be missing the revised edition, and trying to determine if in fact I am missing it.

This is the MacArthur Study Bible (Red cover)

And this is the revised edition (Green cover) that was previously included in the Lifeworks Collection 2.0.

Thanks

I have both of them and it seem that the Newer edition in the green does not have page numbers.  Also the map images are not tagged and searchable like the old edition.  In comparing the notes in the book of Acts I can't see any difference between them.  First glance I would buy the old one with the red cover.

Erwin,

I do own the revised / NASB edition (an alternative way to get it is https://www.logos.com/product/8582/john-macarthur-essential-bible-study-library ), but not the red cover edition. What would help you determine if you need it?

I have the /NASB version, but I am thinking that the Revised edition and the /NASB version are different. I do notice the missing page numbers in the /NASB version, and that's interesting as to why they are not included.

I have the standard edition (Red cover) and the NASB edition (A green cover same as the revised edition), but not the revised edition as listed on the website. The confusion presents itself in the resources listed on the website and various packages.

I did contact CS, and was told that the red cover edition and the green cover revised edition are the same resource. I'm still not sure that I understand fully, but at this point, it is causing more concern and attention than is worth the trouble. I did suggest to CS that the webpage and resource description should include a note stating that the resources are the same, because I am sure that this question will come up again at some point in the future.

Thanks

These appear to be the only 2 available. but the package descriptions and webpage suggests that there are 3. I contacted CS regarding this (see my previous reply).

Thanks

Erwin,

the page you linked to, has the NASB study bibel as the rev. edition (check out for "study bible" with Ctrl-F on the page) and it is in fact a 2006 revision of the former 1997 edition.

This version has links to the timeline feature. The other version doesn't.

Hello, NB;

I don't see it. I'm curious if we are viewing the same page. This is the description I get on https://www.logos.com/product/43981/john-macarthur-collected-works-and-resources

on the bottom of that page are links to the resources contained in the bundle. The study bible is the NASB one.

EDIT: have a look:

Ohhhh, I see it. Smile

So the NASB edition is the revision of the standard (red cover 1997) edition and is labeled under 2 names (MacArthur Study Bible, NASB and MacArthur Study Bible, rev.ed.), as opposed to 2 separate resources/books/editions? I'm seeing it now. The webpage should reflect the correct resource and description to prevent this confusion in the future.

Thanks, NB
