I am missing the following file logos.exe.icon.  Is there anyway I can just download this file to have the icon back or will i have to download the whole program again?

I found it in the appdata directory. I upload it in zipped form (I think the server rejects it otherwise perhaps thinking it could be malicious):

3617.Logos icon.zip

I have it downloaded but it doesn't do anything when I open it.  I'm trying to get the logo icon back and it says it is because this file is missing.  Thanks for your help.

Assuming you are using Windows, you have to 1) find the Logos shortcut 2) right-click on it and go to properties 3) go to change icon and select the ico file. The other option is to reinstall/repair the Logos installation.

At this late date, you are still a genius, Francis.

  1. Found the logos.exe.icon file and copied it to a permanent local directory.
  2. Right-clicked on the shortcut to get Properties
  3. Clicked Change Icon and browsed to the copied icon (it was looking for ".ico", not ".icon" so I set the filter to All Files to see it.)
  4. Worked beautifilly.
