Where are we with the changes to allow "New to You" selectivity on collections and bundles !!!

Subject says it all - this was much spoken about around the V6 launch - as people were looking at the options available there - and wanted them throughout the logos.com website!
We believe it will generate more sales - as we can see what we are getting "exactly"! - can't do that easily at the minute.

I agree, too, that it would help sales. I know there are things that I've given up on simply because I don't have time to research (or call) which things are new to me.

It's still on the list. I've posted a link to this forum thread to the case and pinged the decision-makers on it. Thanks for the reminder.

Hi
Thanks for you rapid response - so is that code for "we have done nothing with it yet!"
hmm
If so 100% for honesty

Are we getting anywhere with this?

It's been 5+ years since Faithlife (then Logos) said that it would enhance the web site to preserve search result settings (e.g. # results per page, sort order) when new searches are initiated. That has not been completed, and that work is trivial. I'm not optimistic on a timeline for comprehensive "New to you" functionality.

There are real arguments to be made against remembering sort order. Against New to You, however, there are none.

Maybe, but against remembering # of results per page? Faithlife implicitly acknowledges the requirement in that their predefined search URLs for various sales, etc., include "&pageSize=60" in the query string.

Can we re-remind - I think I might have bought more by now if this was implemented

These "re-reminders" and bumps come across to Faithlife like kids saying "are we there yet?" in the car. They have their internal reasons why the priority on this has been lower, and more "are we there yet?" comments from the kids usually doesn't make it come along any faster. If you can make a persuasive case why this needs to get higher priority attention soon, then post that. But don't keep essentially asking "are we there yet?"

Understand - however what I want to know is actually "are we there yet"! Or even is there a timetable or an entry in a 50 item queue!
Faithlife/Logos are losing sales due to the inability of us to understand exactly how good some of there collections are and I don't have the cash to waste on transatlantic phone calls, or even the time to spend on the whole process.
Clearly they have the functionality, evident in the base package pages. What we are failing to understand is the prevarication. Or is there another agenda going on here.
Just for myself - I have considered numbers of bundles, and collections only to not take the plunge as I don't know what I am buying!
Blessings.

So - I'm not allowed to remind you, or phone you as this is transatlantic for me and costs too much or even now get an answer on a specific request to sales@logos.com - so when is this likely to be resolved by an dot.com enhancement by a eminently sensible suggestion! ??
Shalom.

Kevin, another option might be to email a sales rep I use Dave Kaplan "kaplan@fai....." and tell him which bundles interest you most, and ask him what is new to you.

thanks Lynden
He was able to help - but it shouldn't really be necessary to go through these hurdles
