[resolved] Resource information minimizes after tagging
I may be mistaken but I don't remember this behaviour when tagging books. Here is what I have just recently noticed. In the past I could open up a resource in my library with the information showing at the right (see image below). Then I could click "more" and enter all my own tags with the "more" information showing. Now, once I enter a tag it reverts back to "less" which is frustrating when wanting to add another tag while seeing all the description.
I don't think this is the way it was in the past. Even it is was it is frustrating. I wish that I could simply click "more" and have it stay open while I enter tags.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Dave, perhaps I didn't make myself clear enough. I have 6.2 so that is not the issue. The issue is that I can't make multiple changes with it expanded. As soon as I put one tag on it minimizes and I have to expand it again. It is possible, but a pain. Before I could make multiple changes with it expanded so that I could see the full description without having to expand it each time.

The fault is mine. I was confirming that it could be done that way with v6.1, so v 6.2 has regressed!

Yes.
I don't understand why this would be done intentionally.
Faithlife, is there any possibility of this returning to the way it was before? It was far superior.

Not intentional. This is an artifact of the redesign and the information panel reacting to library catalog changes. The same behavior would happen if you changed the rating stars or the series. Or if you had a resource information panel open and the library information panel open to the same resource and changed rating, tags, series in the resource information panel.
I changed it to maintain the state of the expanded description while the library information panel is on the same resource when library data changes, and restores the compact description, if necessary, when you change resource selections.
Please let me know if that is not the expected behavior. This should be included in the next Beta.

Thanks Jeff, this is exactly what I would like again. I look forward to this being implemented in a future release.
