This thread will be dedicated to posting dead & broken links that we Logos users encounter so that we can keep an eye on what kind of progress is taking place in restoring links in our libraries.

The impact this thread has will depend on how much and how often Logos users choose to post to it. I'm a firm believer in eliciting squeaks from wheels that need grease. Bringing attention to problems is the best way to begin addressing those problems. This isn't a thread for complaining as much as it a thread for making good software better, similar to the bug reports. So post away, folks. Let's try to get grease on these squeaks.

From H. B. Swete's An Introduction to the OT in Greek, there is this footnote (the first in the book)...

The yellow reference is to this resource in my library...

If the green reference is to Josephus's Against Apion, I assure you I have multiple versions of it. That would make two dead links in this resource--the first two possible links in this book.

Report Typo is probably more effective. This thread is likely to get buried and overlooked by Faithlife, but all typo reports go into their database and will be dealt with eventually.

    Still Swete's IOTG...

Whichever one of the two Hastings Dictionary of the Bible this refers to, I have both...

...and so this should link to the article mentioned in the note. It doesn't.

Granted, one of these two dictionaries has only been active for a few weeks or months, but this brings up a point I made about 5 years ago, and I know others have made it since. Even when Logos doesn't have a particular resource in its stable when another resource is being produced, all possible links should still be created even if it means the link has nothing to link to immediately in any Logos library. When the missing resource for the link is eventually added to Logos, then the link would automatically activate because it has already been created. This should become the standard M. O. for Logos resource production.
