[resolved] Bug: Scanning two resource folders

I created two folders \scan-1 and \scan-2 of resources I manually deleted from Verbum.

1. Started Verbum with a download notification for abt. 860 MB (NO Auto-download)

  • I entered scan e:\scan-1 followed by scan e:\scan-2
  • This attempt only picked up the resources in \scan-1

4073.VerbumScan1.zip

2. Restarted Verbum with a download notification for abt. 450 MB

  • I entered scan e:\scan-1 followed by scan e:\scan-2
  • This attempt picked up the resources in \scan-2.

3125.VerbumScan2.zip

The folder contents were unchanged between attempts.

3. The download notification did not go away until I restarted Verbum!

Thanks for the report. I am able to recreate this problem. I have created a case.

I not certain why the download notification changed and eventually went away. The logs don't seem to indicate any kind of problems. Does "update resources" initiate a download? If so, how large?

The download notification of 450 MB for the remainder of the missing files was no longer necessary after Step 2. I expected it to go away after scanning the files in \scan-2.

This should be fixed in 6.3 RC1.

    Confirmed fixed in RC2 when

    • second scan was entered after update processing complete for the first; and
    • second scan was entered whilst still processing the first scan
