[resolved] Notifications when Software Update is in a download
Running Beta 4.
The notification stated c. 146 MB was available for download and when i allowed it I saw this
Bug: Indexing had not started
EDIT: I appreciate the need for a message with resources being updated, but "library is being indexed" will cause confusion.
After indexing started I saw this
When i restarted it was Beta 5 and a similar notification was being shown (indexing continued).
The indexer log showed it was Beta 5, so had the update proceeded in the background, updating the indexer but waiting for a restart to update the application?
Why no notification about the software update?

Thanks for pointing this out. We'll get the message changed.

It looks to me like changes were made in Beta 5 to display a notification when the application update is installed. Please check again when the next update comes through.

I'll check further, but with the update to RC1 and no resource updates the notification was appropriate.
